SPORTS & LEISURE ACTIVITIES

he Meydan has recently introduced lessons in the martial art of Aikido. Originating in Japan its literal translation is the unification of energy.

Aikido is unique in its techniques as they are designed to protect either side from injury so it’s a very safe and neutral way to explore martial arts. Whether you’re a beginner or a black belt, Aikido is a great and empowering way to try something new.

Lessons will be conducted at the ground floor of the hotel.

Hit your target at The Meydan shooting simulator

Keep your eye on the prize and shoot to the top. Whatever your level, develop your target and shooting skills at the ST-2 shooting simulator. With realistic visual environments and diagnostic tools you’ll be able to enjoy the thrill of the chase whilst improving your skills.

The ST-2 shooting simulator is the first simulator for shotgun and rifle training designed specifically for coaching purposes. It provides feedback that helps you analyse and improve your shooting.

Shooting scenarios include starting position, trajectory and speed of movable targets.

The ST-2 shooting simulator features:

· Realistic shooting scenarios

· Efficient feedback including hit position and gun movement

· Shotgun disciplines: skeet, double trap, sporting clay and trap shooting, rabbit, duck, grouse and pheasant hunting
