Stone built, tiled buildings named after different species of trees in the area host 22 accommodation units: 13 two person one room units and 9 two room family units, with accommodation for up to 4 persons
All units have been furnished with:
- double or twin beds
- all have a fireplace
- satellite TV
- ceiling fan
- hairdryer
- bathroom accessories
- outdoor furniture.
Two room family units have also been furnished with fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting room area.
Each room has its own special style. Just like the old times, both furniture and ornaments have their own special place, in contrast to their walk-in versions. Wardrobes are single standing, and clothes horse, lighting, dixie, wood-block, bronze fittings in the bathrooms, and antique ornaments bring the past and the present together in natural surroundings.
The lounge area is located on the ground floor of the main building. Relax in one of the different seating areas with comfy couches and armchairs, or opt for a seat next to the fire: read a book, play a board game, watch a film, play a game of billiards or go all out on a game of cards!
The tastiest food is said to be home-cooked, as home cooking is prepared with love.
Using the skills and experience of local cooking with fresh local ingredients and a sprinkling of love, home cooked meals are prepared daily at the guesthouse restaurant.
A good, nourishing breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice, steaming hot coffee and a wonderful view out over the woods will set you in a great mood. Enjoy the delicacies of our breakfast buffet, in the sun on the wooden tables on the restaurant veranda.
Tables are set for both midday and evening meals. Kayanas (local omellete), pies, cockerel with pasta squares casserole, salted pork, cod, and veal in tomato sauce with french fries prepared in olive oil, are some of the options on offer on the daily menu. Our chef will announce the game option of the day.
The final course to round off every meal is the dessert … fruits preserved in syrup, orange pie, anthotyro (white soft cheese) served with molasses and dessert wine… just a few of the temptations to stimulate your taste buds…
